Shea's Illustrator/Mapper drawing is titled "The Dividing Line". The group had a great discussion about the confrontation between Hazel & General Woundwort, and some historical situations like it. Do you have any experiences like this personally? Do you know about anything from your study of history that is similar to this situation? Explain.
What I think in history is simular to this picture is the historical happening with Germany. It was the end of WW2, the Germans lost, the U.S.A, UK, USSR, and France had won and taken over Germany. The U.S.A, UK, and France conbinded their fourths and took one half(West Germany), the USSR took the other side(East Germany). The West Germans were in for Democrocy, and the East Germans were ruled by Communism. So, the USSR built the Berlin wall to keep the East Germans from leaving Communism and going to Democrocy, because the West siders, or relatives that live in the West, sometimes persuade them in going over there to live. People on the East tried to escape over, or around the wall, some made it to the other side, but others got shot by the patrolmen garding the gates. In Communism, the East was doing poorly, at the same time in Democracy, the West was doing much better. Finally, they tore down the wall in 1989 and just became Germany. I think the end of the Berlin wall is simular to the end of the story, because they made another warren and had rabbits live there from both warrens.
